Kwara APC, government feud over council allocations

Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed Kwara authorities yesterday denied any kind of interference, stressing that government funds accruing to the state are administered by the several government chairpersons through the Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) and supported parameters set by law. Senior Special Assistant (Media and Communication) to the state governor, Dr. Muideen Akorede, created the clarifications whereas responding to claims by the politician candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) within the state, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, that the govt. diverts government funds. Akorede aforesaid the authorities sees the claim as newsless and false because it neither diverts nor otherwise interferes with the government finances, denying claims that the joint project account was chargeable for the low level of development and economic condition at the government level.
